Town move a step closer to lease plan

BASINGSTOKE Town will discover next month whether plans to secure exclusivity at their Winklebury home are approved.
The Dragons’ stadium and its facilities are currently leased out to Hampshire FA, but the proposed plan would see the lease relinquished by county governing body and re-directed to the Southern League Premier South club.
As a result, the club would then take full control of the stadium facilities, including the two-floor pavilion, while sub-leasing the pitch back to Hampshire FA.
