The Reds finished a creditable eighth in Isthmian South Central last season, but that was largely overshadowed by news of the club’s financial plight towards the end of the campaign.
With a deal to sell their Earls-mead home falling through and rising costs, it was reported the famous old Non-League club needed to raise £180,000 to secure their immediate future.
