Goal ace cleared in ref race probe

Solihull Moors striker Conor Wilkinson says he feared his career was over after being falsely accused of racially abusing a referee.

Solihull Moors striker Conor Wilkinson says he feared his career was over after being falsely accused of racially abusing a referee.
Sunny Singh Gill showed Wilkinson a straight red card and took both teams off the pitch for 20 minutes following an incident in the National League clash between Solihull and Boston United in April.
However, players and staff members from both teams subsequently suggested that Wilkinson’s words had been misheard by an assistant referee.
