Haynes opts for Poppies switch

KETTERING Town boss Liam McDonald has beaten off interest from other clubs to sign experienced defender Ryan Haynes. The experienced left wing-back has amassed over 300 appearances at League One, League Two and National League with the likes of Coventry City, Cambridge United (loan), Shrewsbury, Newport County, Northampton Town and Cheltenham.
The Poppies have also snapped up experienced former St Albans striker Shaun Jeffers from Bedford Town, 6ft 5in former Enfield Town and St Albans City man Bayley Brown, and a midfield partner for him in the shape of Jack Newell, who arrives from leagu...
