AMARI LANDS A NEW ROLE

VETERAN striker Amari Morgan-Smith has landed a surprise move to FC Halifax Town – as player/coach.

The 37-year-old has recently ended a six-year spell at Kidderminster Harriers, where he scored over 50 goals and helped the club to two promotions.
Prior to that, Morgan-Smith enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the lower leagues, turning out for Oldham Athletic in League One, Stockport and Cheltenham in League Two and a plethora of Non-League clubs, notably Luton Town, York City, Telford United and Alfreton.
