SQUIRTY BOSS IS BANNED FOR NINE MONTHS

A STEP 5 manager has been banned from all football for NINE MONTHS – for squirting water at a referee.
Combined Counties League club Badshot Lea say they are standing by boss Adam New after he was landed with a 274-day suspension following the incident during their Premier Division South fixture against Tooting & Mitcham United on March 28.
New was handed the ban for “physical contact, or attempted physical contact towards a match official”, according to the Surrey club.
