Tanners coast to a massive success

LEATHERHEAD made the perfect start to life back in step three with an accomplished away performance that saw off a determined Ramsgate side 2-1 on the Kent coast.
All of the goals were scored in the first half. Kofi Anokye-Boadi gave the Tanners the lead inside ten minutes and Harry Murphy made it two against the run of play towards the end of the first period.
Callum Jones pulled a goal back for the Rams on the stroke of half-time and in truth the Rams will feel aggrieved to have only scored one goal during the first 45 minutes.
