LISBIE SELL-ON IS JUST PERFECT FOR IRON

BRAINTREE Town are no longer operating under a transfer embargo after pocketing a cash windfall from the sale of former player Kyrell Lisbie.
The Iron were relegated to National League South in April and placed under an embargo in May, blaming dwindling attendances and an overspend of the playing budget for creating a cash shortfall.
However, they are now free to sign players after benefiting from Lisbie’s £2.5m switch from Peterborough to Millwall.
