CLEETHORPES recorded their record victory in the FA Trophy with Josh Walker’s hat-trick leading a convincing victory.
It was the visitors, who drew first blood though. In the tenth minute, Nic Evangelinos converted a cross following superb play down the left by Charlie Bailey.
However, the celebrations had barely died down before the prolific Walker equalised, cleverly pouncing for a close-range conversion.
If the first-half had been relatively even, the home side dominated after the break and scored four more times to ease into Monday’s draw.
