SAM JONES notched a 34-minute hat-trick to inspire a 4-0 win for Cardiff Met at Aberystwyth Town to keep the students flying high in the JD Cymru Premier League. Hot shot Jones ensured the Cyncoed boys stayed at the top of the league with a perfect three-fromthree record as they overran the home side.
Jones struck in the eighth, 29th and 34th minutes to make it 3-0 at the break and then Eliot Evans added a fourth to finish the job.
