CLACTON MUST PAY OR LEAVE

FC CLACTON have been served with an eviction notice by their council landlords for failing to pay a lease agreement and back rent.
The Essex Senior League side has been given until the end of the season in May 2025 by Tendring District Council to leave Rush Green Bowl in Clacton-on-Sea, home to the club and their predecessor Clacton Town since 1987.
The club was offered the chance to pay a one-off sum of £4,250 to lease the ground for the past seven years but failed to do so, the council claim.
