Break-ins reported at both Aldershot Town and Farnham Town

Two Non-League clubs in the Surrey and Hampshire area have reported that they were broken into over the Easter weekend.

Aldershot

Two Non-League clubs in the Surrey and Hampshire area have reported that they were broken into over the Easter weekend.
In his programme notes before yesterday’s victory over Havant & Waterlooville, Aldershot Town Chairman Shahid Azeem wrote “to put you in the picture, if the visit of Hartlepool United and our subsequent relegation couldn’t have been bleak enough, we had a major break in at the EBB Stadium on the Saturday morning where a number of items were stolen in addition to the vandals damaging the South Stand, High Street Portakabin and the EBB Lounge including the Board Room”.
Following this announcement, Farnham Town, whose Memorial Ground is based just a 15 minutes drive away from The Shots’ stadium, revealed that they had been victim of a similar offence.
A statement on Farnham’s official Twitter account read, “To the lads who’ve just got into our ground & broken into the changing rooms & storage container – all your faces & your car reg have been caught on camera. This is your opportunity to return the stuff you’ve nicked or the police will become involved & be passed all the evidence”.
This is the latest break-in this season in a series of events which have seen the likes of Rushall Olympic and Sholing.
