SHAM TEARS IT UP TO GIVE SHOTS A WINNING FEELING

INJURY-HITAldershot Town ground out a vital victory to earn their first win in five games – but once again it could have been more comfortable.
Already shorn of eight players through injury, suspension and Scott Rendell’s imminent fatherhood, Shamir Fenelon tweaked a hamstring in scoring a ninth-minute opener as the Shots capitalised after a lively start.
Nathan Vaughan parried Jim Kellermann’s swerving 20-yard drive and from the resulting corner, taken short by James Rowe, Bobby-Joe Taylor’s cross to the far-post was hooked in by Fenelon.
