PAUL DOSWELL is imploring EFL clubs to get behind 3G pitches bring allowed into their competition – and believes they will also see the benefits like Sutton United.
Along with Maidstone United and Bromley, Doswell’s U’s are one of three clubs in the National League playing on the artificial surface.
But, under current rules, should any of them win promotion they would be faced with having to rip up the pitch and put grass back down or be relegated to Non-League’s second tier.
