GATE CAN OPEN UP FOR CARDS, SAYS LIMBRICK

ANTHONY Limbrick reckons Woking’s midweek mission to gain a hard-earned point at Gateshead could just be the catalyst to kickstart their season.
The rookie boss was fuming after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Solihull Moors and called his players in for an emergency team meeting before they embarked on their 600-mile round trip to the International Stadium on Tuesday.
And it did the trick as the Cards responded to claim a battling 1-1 draw against the in-form Heed – denied a much-needed three points by Ben Fox’s equaliser ten minutes from time.
