AFC FYLDE moved within two points of the play-off places with a comfortable victory over FC Halifax Town.
The visitors have enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence under new manager Jamie Fullarton and kept their freescoing hosts at bay in a tight opening half.
However, Fylde took just two second-half minutes to grab the initiative. Winger Jonny Smith burst down the left before whipping a low cross into the box that found its way straight into the bottom corner.
