UCL PAIR FOLD BUT POACHERS CLING ON

TWO United Counties League clubs folded this week – and a third has pulled back from the brink.
The demise of Division One outfits Buckingham Town and Olney Town brought the curtain down on 250 years of history.
Olney failed to attract new people to run the club, following the announcement at the beginning of April that the entire committee will stand down at the end of this season.
The club said that it would be impossible to make further improvements to their Recreation Ground home to comply with Steps 5 and 6 ground grading requirements. Without football at this leve...
