SPITFIRES’ SAM’S THE NEXT MAN TO MAKE BIG LEAP

EASTLEIGH’S Player of the Season Sam Matthews has become the latest Non- League star to land a move into the EFL with Bristol Rovers.
The 21-year-old midfielder has signed for the League One side having been on loan in the National League last season from Bournemouth.
Matthews impressed at the Spitfires by reaching double figures for goals with his allaction displays.
His new manager Darrell Clarke has challenged him to continue his progress at the Memorial Stadium.
