LIONS’ PROMOTION IS THE AIM FOR GARNER

SCOTT Garner says it was his desire to win promotion back to the top-flight which was the motivation behind his move to Guiseley, writes AIDAN JONES.
The 28-year-old defender was part of Billy Heath’s FC Halifax Town side which won through the National League North play-offs in 2016-17 and helped the Shaymen consolidate their position in the top tie last term.
Now, he is hoping to repeat the feat with the Lions, who have lofty ambitions under new boss Marcus Bignot after their were relegated in the last campaign.
