DOVER ATHLETICfinally ended their barren National League run with a vital National League win at the 15th attempt.
A goal in each half from birthday boy Kevin Lokko and sub Jai Reason saw the Kent side move to within touching distance of 23rd-placed Braintree and though his team remain bottom of the table, boss Andy Hessenthaler was optimistic following the morale-boosting win.
