BUOYANT Havant & Waterlooville cruised to a third home win on the trot with a comfortable victory over an out-of-sorts Maidstone, who played for over an hour with ten men following Elliott Romain’s red card and with manager Harry Wheeler sent from the dugout.
Striker Alfie Rutherford was the hat-trick hero for the Hawks, while goals either side of the break from new signing Jona Ayunga and a fine effort from Alex Bradley rendered a late Maidstone flurry as consolation.
