BOTH Hartlepool and Braintree made managerial changes this week. Pools’ new boss Craig Hignett enjoyed his debut more than the Iron’s Danny Searle – but only just.
Pools needed a comefrom- behind-victory to get Hignett off to a winning start, after he took over from Richard Money, who lasted 45 days in the job.
A strong second-half showing proved the difference and Hignett said: “It was a good start, winning was the important thing after what’s gone on. It was important we started off on the front foot, but first half we were a bit flat.
