POINT APIECE BUT TEN-MAN HAWKS ARE DENIED

BOTH these relegation threatened sides had to settle for a point but it was ten-man Havant & Waterlooville who went home the happier following the firsthalf sending-off of Chris Robertson.
The Hawks centre-back had earlier been booked for a petty foul and then was dismissed by referee Will Finney on 36 minutes for pulling Jamie Allen back 35 yards from goal.
Yet still it was the home side who went closest to bagging a winner with Rory Williams’ corner rebounding off the crossbar and both Scott Doe and Dan McNamara forced to clear efforts off the line.
