THERE couldn’t have been a wider contrast in the fortunes of two sides at the Gallagher Stadium.
Whilst victory for Salford City took them back to the top of the National League table, defeat confirmed Maidstone United’s relegation after three years in the top-flight.
It’s been a miserable season for the Stones. They have won just eight league matches all term with only two of those coming at home.
