PETE WILD couldn’t hide his delight as his FC Halifax Town punished 10-man Ebbsfleet United to go top of the table on the opening day.
Wild was handed a lifeline just nine minutes into his first game in charge when Fleet’s Jack King was sent off by referee Matthew Russell for a foul on Tobi Sho-Silva.
And the Shaymen made them pay with Cameron King putting the visitors in front two minutes later.
John Goddard equalised for Fleet six minutes before the break but the numerical advantage took its toll in the second half with Niall Maher, Jack Earing and a quit...
