PETE WILD couldn’t hide his delight as his FC Halifax Town punished 10-man Ebbsfleet United to go top of the table on the opening day.
Wild was handed a lifeline just nine minutes into his first game in charge when Fleet’s Jack King was sent off by referee Matthew Russell for a foul on Tobi Sho-Silva.
And the Shaymen made them pay with Cameron King putting the visitors in front two minutes later.
