JAKE CASSIDY’S late Maidenhead United winner broke Hatters’ hearts on the opening day of the season in a professional performance.
The striker scored the first goal of the new National League campaign to give Alan Devonshire’s side a winning start.
With the BT Sport cameras in attendance to herald Stockport County’s return to Non- League’s top flight, the visitors took home all the points.
And Magpie’s boss Devonshire was delighted.
