Fondop double not enough

MIKE Fondop scored twice on his debut but couldn’t prevent Barnet from twice hitting back to earn a share of the spoils.
The new recruit from Wrexham netted in the early exchanges of both halves but Barnet drew level through a Jack Taylor strike and a Simeon Akinola penalty.
With both sides smarting from home midwekk defeats, it was Chesterfield who made the early running and with the Barnet back four containing only two recognised defenders, with less than two minutes played, it was the Spireites who took the lead.
