A RATHER uneventful encounter at Meadow Park was settled by an 83rd-minute winner by Sutton United super-sub Tommy Wright, continuing their impressive unbeaten start to the season under new manager Matt Gray. Boreham Wood on the other hand continued a winless run at home stretching back to Boxing Day 2018.
The contest never really got going and Sutton did very well to nullify Boreham Wood’s goalscoring thread. The match had few chances in the first half. Craig Eastmond twice came close for the visitors and Boreham Wood striker Tyrone Marsh shot straight at the goalke...
