BARROW strolled to their first win at Ebbsfleet in seven years and their third straight victory as two early goals in either half left Fleet manager Garry Hill declaring that his side “looked a very sorry team”.
It was difficult to argue with that interpretation as Barrow’s unhurried and confident passing game was in sharp contrast to a disjointed and nervy Fleet side who constantly struggled to find their men and carried little threat from a front two starved of service.
