CHESTERFIELD dropped back into the relegation zone after a late Will Evans own goal handed high-flying Bromley a come-from-behind victory at the Proact Stadium.
The Spireites looked comfortable after Mike Fondop gave them the lead after 15 minutes, but Evans’ unfortunate intervention – just four minutes after Ben Williamson had brought Bromley level – left John Sheridan’s men three points from safety.
Naturally, Sheridan was unimpressed, bewildered by the decision-making of Evans that inevitably cost his side a point.
