BOREHAM WOOD made it seven games unbeaten with an impressive display at Crabble to take them to within one point of the play-offs.
A first-half penalty from Sorba Thomas and a 59th-minute strike from Justin Shaibu sealed the points for Wood as Dover were made to pay for an unusually abject display.
Wood boss Luke Garrard, however, was quick to play down his side’s red-hot form. “We are ninth on the table, so there are eight other teams better than us right now and we just have to stay with the chasing pack,” he said.
