JOHNNO BEGINS SEARCH AS REID DEPARTS

TORQUAY United manager Gary Johnson has vowed to find a replacement for top scorer Jamie Reid, who has rejected a new contract with the club.
Talented winger Kalvin Kalala has also turned down a new deal at Plainmoor while the experienced Gulls boss has released Ryan Dickson, Jared Lewington and Josh Baxter.
The rest of the Torquay squad is staying put for whenever the new season may begin, but the loss of Reid is undoubtedly a big blow.
The 25-year-old signed in 2017, following two loan spells from Exeter City, and has bagged 78 goals in 144 appearances.
