SUTTON began this season where they had left off in March as they ended their Maidenhead hoodoo with a convincing win.
The Berkshire side had won all five of the National League meetings between the sides, and had not lost to Sutton in ten league games, but after winger Sam Barratt had seen his glancing header clip the outside of the post early on they were second best against a U’s outfit who recaptured their form from when last season was halted.
