SUBSTITUTE Medy Elito held his nerve to score a winner from the penalty spot 11 MINUTES into time added on to cap a gripping finale and hand Wealdstone a first win of the season.
A dramatic conclusion saw Altrincham reduced to ten men just moments before when Brad Jackson was sent off by referee Tom Bishop for taking down Craig Fasanmade on the halfway line.
Just as the game looked as if it would end goalless, Elito’s shot struck straight into the arm of an Alty defender and he netted the resulting spot-kick.
