CHESTERFIELD and FC Halifax Town finished 2021 joint top of the National League table after the two couldn’t be separated on Bank Holiday Monday.
It needed a late equaliser from Chesterfield in front of more than 8,000 fans – midfielder Jack Clarke putting in on 85 minutes to cancel out Matty Warburton’s first-half strike.
