RESURGENT Torquay eventually saw off plucky Dover at Crabble to move within six points of the play-off places.
Asa Hall set the Gulls flying with a sumptuous volley after just 90 seconds but Jake Goodman scrambled Dover level against the run of play inside half an hour.
But late goals from Joe Lewis and sub Stephen Duke-McKenna sent United on their 265- mile return journey happy.
