GRIMSBY Town eventually got the better of rock bottom Dover to make it four wins from last five games and maintain their play-off push.
Shaun Pearson and Tristan Abrahams put the visitors in charge but the Whites hit back through defender Jake Goodman.
And the Mariners were never comfortable until John McAtee’s 11th goal of the season restored their cushion with 18 minutes to go.
