BILLY Waters climbed off the bench to break down a resolute Wealdstone and help salvage a crucial three points for promotion-chasing FC Halifax Town.
Waters struck twice in an impressive 34-minute cameo which sent Pete Wild’s men up to second in the table, ten points adrift of leaders Stockport.
Replacing Zak Dearnley just inside the hour, Waters didn’t have to wait long to get a piece of the action – his hooked half-volley from the right-hand side of the box sailing just over.
