YORK CITY climbed up to ninth in the National League with a single-goal win over Yeovil, despite missing a penalty.
Lenell John-Lewis saw his spotkick saved by Glovers keeper Grant Smith but made amends by scoring a late winner.
The Minstermen were awarded a spot-kick with 20 minutes to go when Josh Staunton was penalised for handball but John-Lewis’ effort was saved by Smith.
But the big striker wasn’t to denied 11 minutes from time when sliding home the winner.
