A DEBUT goal from midfield man Dan Jarvis earned Gateshead a share of the spoils in a turgid affair against Eastleigh in which football was most certainly not the winner.
Summer signing Jarvis hadn’t kicked a ball for the Heed due to injury but finally entered the fray midway through the second period.
The former Wrexham man’s impact was immediate, arrowing a ball into the top corner from just outside the box just ten minutes after replacing Lirak Hasani.
