BRADFORD PARK Avenue’s winless start to the season extended to ten games as they were dealt their heaviest defeat so far against a dominant Southport.
The hosts came out on the front foot and their energetic start paid off within five minutes as Niall Watson laid the ball off to Jack Bainbridge from a long throw with Bainbridge striking a thunderbolt into the top corner from 20 yards to give the Sandgrounders an early lead.
