SOUTHEND United made it 11 National League matches without defeat after recording a comfortable win against Dorking Wanderers at Roots Hall.
An early Jack Bridge penalty was followed by a Shaun Hobson header as the Shrimpers moved up to fifth in the table.
And Southend boss Kevin Maher was happy to see his side build on Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw with table-topping Notts County.
