LUNCHTIME kick-offs often turn out to be low key affairs and this proved to be the case on Tyneside as Aldershot made if five wins from eight games under interim manager Ross McNeilly.
The early start saw a flat atmosphere in the stands replicated on the pitch where a scrappy opening 45 minutes predictably ended goalless.
But once the Shots forged ahead through Ryan Glover seven minutes after the restart they never looked back and they were good value for their two-goal victory with Justin Amaluzor making sure of the points...
