CHESTERFIELD ended a nine-game winless league run and claimed only their first win in 13 outings to cap a miserable week for relegation- threatened Gateshead.
The Heed were fined and docked one point in midweek for fielding a suspended player and they remain in the drop zone after this cruel setback on home turf.
