Eastleigh 1-0 Oldham Athletic: Whitehall’s a winner as Spitfires power on

A stunning second half strike by Danny Whitehall, which lit up a tight, pretty ordinary affair, earned depleted Eastleigh a tenth single-goal victory of the season and cemented their place in the National League play-off zone.

A STUNNING second half strike by Danny Whitehall, which lit up a tight, pretty ordinary affair, earned depleted Eastleigh a tenth single-goal victory of the season and cemented their place in the National League play-off zone.
It came in the 72nd minute, Whitehall curling a superb shot past the unsighted Magnus Norman from fully 25 yards after Charlie Carter had cleverly worked his way past two Oldham challenges to tee up the shot.
