A LATE brace from Inih Effiong saw Dagenham & Redbridge secure a first win in charge for manager Ben Strevens against struggling Torquay United.
Aaron Jarvis’ strike from distance on the stroke of half-time gave the relegation-threatened Gulls the lead.
But 12 minutes from time, Daggers substitute Sydney Ibie was brought down in the penalty area and Effiong stepped up to score from the spot.
