BARNET made seven changes to their starting line-up, clearly with more than one-eye on Tuesday’s home play-off eliminator against Boreham Wood.
But, despite the relative low stakes, this London derby was played in competitive spirit with two second half strikes by Dagenham & Redbridge’s Inih Effiong and the impressive substitute Sydney Ibie proving decisive.
The Bees had the better chances but without their first choice strikers, their finishing was below-par.
