SPIREITES ON TRAIL OF BOOT

ENGLAND C goalkeeper Ryan Boot is trialing with Chesterfield after leaving Solihull Moors.
The 28-year-old is regarded as one of the best keepers in the National League for a number of years.
He came on as a substitute for the Spireites in their midweek pre-season friendly against Derby County with boss Paul Cook looking to bring in competition for Harry Tyrer to take the number one spot.
Boot declined an offer of new terms for Moors for whom he made 224 appearances for Moors across five years, keeping 69 clean sheets in that time.
