OXFORD City were given a rude awakening to life in the National League as a resurgent Aldershot Town ran riot at an exultant EBB Stadium.
Tommy Widdrington extended his unbeaten start to his tenure as Shots boss to seven matches, and this was by some distance the Shots’ most impressive home performance in at least a year, illuminated by a stellar twogoal debut from Swiss striker Lorent Tolaj.
