NEW signing Kwesi Appiah and stalwart defender Jamal Fyfield fired Boreham Wood to their first win of the season with victory over FC Halifax Town.
Appiah netted his second goal in as many matches since his summer switch from Crawley Town before Fyfield wrapped up victory eight minutes later.
“I’m very happy with the two goals and a clean sheet,” said delighted boss Luke Garrard. “We were very well organised
and clinical. We weathered the storm in the final part of the game and held out well in the end.”
